I am a local student living in mckinleyville, and attending HSU next fall, i am looking for a 2 bd apartment, preferably with 1.5baths, in arcata situated relatively close to HSU or the plaza. Living in the space will be 1 low key art student, working part time, and 1 full time worker, both aged 20, with no pets. We have references, jobs, sufficient funds and 2 cosigners on hand. But no rental companies take us seriously because we don't have mommy behind us with a blank check. we can afford 800$/mo, at the most. We are desperately trying to find a residence, and have been let down repeatedly by humboldt prop management. so if you are willing to meet us, and arent someone charging laughably high prices for an apartment in town, please respond! it would be so appreciated!
