These Ashikos are hand crafted in the San Francisco Bay area from 18 staves of U.S. grown Poplar hardwood stained dark oak and protected with 4 coats of polyurethane. All are 28 inches high, perfect for seated playing. The Bass drum has a 12 inch diameter, thick Cowhide head. The other 2 drums have 11 inch diameter heads of medium thick Cowhide and produce mellow Conga-like tones and crisp slaps. All are very slighly used and only have some minor blemishes where the bottom ring scratched the shell as the drums were tightened and tuned, but all are solid and sound fabulous. A few years back I bought my Korg MS-2000 off of a good friend of mine. I never use the damn thing and I'm tired of keeping it in a closet. I've used it a handful of times - it's in the original box - and it's in remarkable condition. I've seen them go on Ebay for high $700's and $800's, but the latest is around mid $500's to $600.

It's awesome. I never delved too deeply into the synth-world, but as far as this one goes... it's perfect for Goth/Industrial, Trance, Ambient, Goa, or anything that might require an ethereal or avant-garde type of sound. I don't have the physical manual, but I have the manual in PDF format which I could give you... or if you're computer savvy, you can download the manual from www.korg.com for free.

Unfortunately I don't know much about the make or model of this cabinet. Clearly a previous owner took the thing apart, customized it and then somewhat haphazardly put it back together, as the speaker cable is stuck in the jack and the back covering is basically held on by staples. However this thing is a sound cannon. It has a very unique, almost extra bass-y sound to it. It is by far the loudest cabinet I have ever owned. Last time Toxic Narcotic played here (at The Vista) I let the guitar player use this cabinet and he loved it. I would love to take it with me, as I am moving, but the thing is a monster and no way going to fit with all my stuff. Believe me, if you have a good amp/head, this cabinet will work wonders for you. Probably better suited for louder, heavier music, but maybe that's my own bias.

1995 round neck Dobro from late OMI period. Exceptional; shape, ALL SOLID MAHOGONY. There was only a three year window period when Dobros were made out of solid woods instead of laminates, this is one of them. Purchased from original owner in December 2008, at that time it had almost zero playtime. Has some small nicks on end of peghead, one nick on face, one small scratch on back. This would be graded as in-over all excellent shape.

Recently examined by professional luthier and declared in sound order.

Nice warm,even tone with excellent projection.

Classic depression era (the LAST not the current) dark sunburst with "f" holes instead of mesh covered round soundholes.

I'll be camping on the coast this weekend. I'm looking to trade some pedals, and haven't had much luck locally.

I have:
MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive pedal, which sounds fat and full, and very tube-like.
Ibanez PH7 phaser, which sounds good for what it does, but probably isn't comparable to $100+ dollar ones.
Broken DOD FX17 wah. Really cool wah/volume pedal, look it up online. The FET switching system is shot, I believe. Any electronics majors, this should be a breeze to diagnose and fix.
Broken Fender FR1000 solid state reverb unit. Doesn't power up. Needs a recap. Again, should be an easy fix.

I'm specifically looking for any Electro-Harmonix pedals or Devi Ever pedals. Ideally I'd like to get my hands on an EHX Flanger Hoax or EHX The Wiggler. Kind of a long shot, but I'd also be interested in a Leslie cab (broken or working) that can work with a Hammond M100 series. Shoot me an email. Up for sale is a C.G. Conn " New Wonder" Saxophone from 1919. It has a real nice floral engraving on the front, and appears to be silver plated with abalone inlays on the keys. This sax was found in my grandparents garage after my gramps passed, and had been there since the 50's when a Morman missonary left it there for safe keeping and never reclaimed it. It was giving to me a couple years back, but i play strings not horns, so its taken up space and not being loved. Comes with the original hard case with purple "velvet" lining ,and original mouth piece and another reed and mouth piece. It's a really nice unit, but does need some cleaning after 60+ years of sitting in the garage.
