We are located off Broadway in Eureka California, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing our financial processes.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting department and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, and providing strategic financial guidance.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and payroll.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to the owners.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Experience managing accounting processes and leading a team.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.
