0BR / 1Ba 315ft2 available jun 14
rent period: monthly
I am looking for someone to lease my studio apartment beginning June 14th, as I am moving out 2 months before my lease expires. This is NOT a sublet ~ you would be starting a new lease. I plan to hire professional cleaners to clean and ready this space for you by the time I move out on June 1st, and the property management will be spending the next couple of weeks readying the place for you, so it will be very fresh and clean for you when you arrive for a move-in date of June 14.

Rent: $975 a month
Deposit: $1350
Available for Move-In on June 14, 2024

This apartment is only a 10-minute walk to Humboldt Cal Poly. All units have luxury vinyl flooring (no carpet!) Water and garbage paid. Laundry onsite and off-street parking. You would need to have the electricity transferred to your name and pay for it. My electricity bill has been between $40 - $75 a month, depending on the time of year – it averages about $60 or so a month year-round

The apartment is 315 sq ft, on the ground floor, and I'm the only person who has ever lived in it, as this complex is fairly new. The bathroom is pretty large and has a bathtub and a shower. There's a full-size refrigerator, plenty of cabinet space, a sink, a stove, and everything. A gas wall heater heats it. There's a sliding glass door that opens out onto your private patio that's surrounded by a wooden fence. There's a laundry room down the hall. The front door is very private, opening into an enclosed hallway.

This apartment complex is right on the edge of Shay Park, so there's a beautiful nature preserve with bike/hiking trails basically in your backyard. It's pretty quiet here, also.

This apartment is FREE of mold and scents, also. I have environmental sensitivities and NEVER have used scented chemical laundry detergents or anything like that here. I have always used a dehumidifier 24/7, as well, and have lined the window sill and sliding glass door area with baking soda to prevent mold growth too. For any vegans like me that would care also, I don't eat animal products so this place is free of anything left over from that. I do NOT smoke either. This place is clean and well taken care of.

This apartment will NOT be furnished – unless you want to buy a few things I'm planning to sell before I move (a solid oak desk, matching solid oak side table, a tall Mexican pine bookshelf, and a portable washing machine that's only ever had natural, unscented laundry soap used in it).

No pets allowed and no smoking.

I need to find someone to rent this apartment because I have found a house that's perfect for me that the landlord wants to rent sooner than my lease expires.

If you are interested, please email me and I'll tell you how to apply. The Property Management will have the final say. Thank you!
