wheel size: 26 in
bicycle frame material: steel

condition: good
make / manufacturer: Rans V-Rex
This is a great bike bike but it isn't a MTB / gravel bike which is my desired replacement. This bike is in good condition. It has some minor scratches and such so I couldn't in good conscience call it "excellent" condition. Comes with an over the seat bag that slips off and has a shoulder strap to carry. I have used this system commuting. This bike has an aftermarket suspension fork and you can mount 2 water bottles. The handlebars rotate forward to ease mounting. This has the lighter / thinner seat pad. The seat back angle is adjustable. I installed a granny gear for climbing the hills around here but this means that the chain length was adjusted to prevent chain slap. The current gearing Can Not be cross-chained. If you don't want the granny gear it is an easy change out.

From road bike review:
Dillon said: "I would recommend it to any one who's looking for a good recumbent to ride, whether for fun or commuting, this is the best you can buy, and i have tried many different types of upright recumbents. I have had mine for almost a year and it has been the best bike I've owned."

JF said: "Ergonomics and utility. The RANS seat sets the standard for comfort in the recumbent world. The back is mesh for good ventilation, and it's angled up enough to give a great view of the world while you're riding. The pedals are at seat level, just high enough for good aerodynamics without going to extremes. The triangulated chromoloy frame is bulletproof, as well as stiff and responsive."
