The serial number has this bike being built on November 19, 1951. It was purchased in Eureka CA. at Bill Beasley's Sporting Goods Store. I believe the Budda family had purchased this bike for a Christmas gift to their son so he could do his paper route. I think his name was Frank Budda.They lived across the street from us on the corner of California and Grotto street. My dad purchased the bike in 54 or 55 for me to ride. I have had it ever since. I started restoration work in or around 2005. I spent over $4000 to restore it. I salvaged as much as I could of the original parts but I did purchase some after market parts. It is bout 60 or 70% original. It has been stored in the house since I restored it. There are some extra parts that go with it.
