Steve Wills Trucking and Logging is currently hiring a Logging Supervisor (Side Rod)
full time, part time, seasonal or year-round work available
The ideal candidate will:
• Be able to prioritize work on a daily basis
• Be able to exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion
• Have effective problem-solving skills to improve operations, and processes
• Be able to handle high-stress situations
• Have above average verbal and written communication skills
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
• Be able to juggle many different tasks in a day
• Be able to work with mapping programs (Avenza)
• Prior experience in cable logging and or tractor/ shovel logging
• Possess a great understanding of Forest practice rules and regulations for logging and road operations and great familiarity with THP
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and a background check
Priority will be given to candidates that:
• Are bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Have previous side rod experience
