These are beautifully handwoven Bolivian wool tapestries- either of the Aymara or Quechua Indigenous peoples. Hang them on your wall, on the back of a chair or sofa, or even use as a meditation mat! One has a gray background, with beautifully uneven edges, & is slightly larger measuring 42" by 43". The other with a purple background measures about 3ft by 3ft, and has light variation of shade in the purple dye, perhaps from age or sunlight. Only very lightly used. No holes, no moths, no mold! I lived in Bolivia, and these were the only textiles that I bought and returned with and held onto these past twenty years or more. They are filled with story and life of Bolivia- and I recall the artisan describing how each colorful design painted a story...however forgotten, this is the story now. I wouldn't part with them but we are moving, so I must find them a new home!
