Northcoast Children’s Services is a private non-profit serving pregnant families and families with children from birth to kindergarten age. NCS employs over 200 people and provides services to over 500 children and their families in 19 locations throughout Humboldt and Del Norte Counties each year.
We have Teacher, Lead Teacher, Center Teacher, and Center Director positions with both full and part-time options. We also have roles available as Home Visitor and Family worker. We have opportunities for on call substitute staff too.
Many of our staff have joined us starting as Classroom Assistants gaining education and experience with help from mentors to grow into advanced teaching roles. We provide training and assist with cost of furthering your education. Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, Sick time, and Vacation pay benefits.
