We have immediate openings for a highly dedicated and compassionate ABA Technician to become a vital member of our local team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a passion for working with children preschool age and elementary age.
Key Responsibilities:
***Implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity and precision, as developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
***Collect accurate and reliable data on client behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress towards individualized goals using Applied Behavior Analysis.
***Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in various settings, specifically in preschools and elementary schools and after school programs.
***Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment.
Requirements:
***A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field such as Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or a closely allied discipline is preferred.
***Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly preferred. Candidates without RBT certification must demonstrate a strong willingness and commitment to obtain certification within 6 months upon hire, with support and guidance provided by ABA Humboldt.
***A minimum of one year of supervised experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
Reliable personal transportation to travel to sites in Scotia, Rio Dell, Fortuna, Eureka and Mckinleyville
***Day time availability between the hours of 8-4 and/ or afternoon hours 1-7
