Spartan Polyspede model no. S 75A
I used it for a few years to control a half horsepower DC motor that ran my Diamant grain mill. In order to keep the mill running cool for large batches I had to run the motor quite slow and finally after one, particularly big batch, I overheated it to the point where the Epoxy holding the magnets in place, softened, and I fried the thing. A replacement motor is about $500 so for now, I'm milling by hand.
