She recognizes and alerts to Coyotes and other dogs very quickly.
Beautiful dog with great instincts. Loves kids and we have been working her around pigs, goats and starting to introduce chickens.
She is not aggressive towards the animals but will try to chase and play, this is normal for this age.
Got car sick in the car, but we haven't tried again.
Has only done a little bit of leash training, but sticks with us when we walk around the property.
House potty trained.
Taking monthly Simparico trio for flea, ticks and worms.
We want to keep her, but we just found out the neighbors have 2 large LGDs and the fence line isn't secure enough to keep her safe.
Please research livestock guardian dogs first if you are interested!
LGD's are not considered mature until around 2 years old and require lots of supervised time with livestock before being left alone. It is recommended that you spend 3 months bonding with the dog before transitioning them to outside with animals.
