Join our team at a high-end, well-established dental office in Arcata. We are a tight-knit team with a proactive, preventative, and education-based approach to patient dental care. We are seeking a respectful, self-starter, and solution-driven team player to fill the role of Sterilization Assistant.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8 am to close (with an hour lunch break)
Main Duties:
Ensure provider and patient safety
Manage laundry
Stock and organize supplies
Process and sterilize instruments
Prepare procedure trays daily
Perform light maintenance of sterilizers
Order supplies as needed
Manage trash and recycling
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental or medical setting preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
