About the Opportunity
• Location: Eureka, CA (specific details shared upon contact).
• Compensation: IHSS hourly pay (paid directly by the state/county) PLUS significantly reduced rent for a private room in a roomy, well-maintained house.
• Schedule: Full-time live-in arrangement. Specific care hours will be determined based on the IHSS authorized hours and mutual agreement.
Responsibilities (Must be authorized IHSS tasks):
The primary duties focus on maintaining a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment for the client.
• 🍽️ Meal Preparation: Planning, cooking, and preparing nutritious, daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) according to dietary needs.
• 🧹 Light Housekeeping: Maintaining the client's living areas, including tidying, dusting, laundry, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
• 🛒 Shopping/Errands: Assisting with grocery shopping, prescription pickups, and other necessary errands.
• Personal Care: Assisting with other authorized personal care tasks as needed and specified by the IHSS plan (e.g., occasional standby assistance, feeding, etc.).
