Permaculture couple seek space (Eureka & beyond)

My partner and I live in Eureka and are looking for a more homestead oriented property to plug into over the next year. Seeking between eureka and trinidad. My past living situations have involved sharing farm chores and providing 8hrs/week for housing and a similar situation would be ideal but I'm open to paying for the right spot.
I hope to have a big garden this coming year and am open to different situations. I have some farming and building & maintenance experience. We both work full time with reliable vehicles. References, resumes and all that available.
