My name is Eric and I am offering drum set, percussion, and even beginning piano lessons.
I am open to teaching any levels and all ages, and I host lessons in a private isolated studio complete with two drum sets, a variety of percussion instruments + a keyboard as well.
I have 15 years of experience with drum set and over 10 years of experience with a variety of percussion instruments and piano as well.
For my drum set lessons, I cover basic sticking technique, rudiments, and groove/timekeeping.
I can experience and can teach grooves in many styles including Rock, Swing, Blues, Shuffle, Funk, and even world grooves such as Afro-latin/Cuban rhythms such as Songo, Cumbia, 12/8 Afro, etc + Afro-Caribbean rhythms such as Calypso, Reggae, Biguine and much more! Also I have experience playing and can teach Drum set + Timbales hybrid on styles such as Cumbia and Salsa/Son music!
For my Percussion based lessons I can teach traditional techniques and grooves on instruments such as Congas, Bongos, Timbales, Djembe, and more!
Also - as a bonus - if interested, I can teach basic to intermediate jazz piano theory in addition to beginning piano.
For my lessons I charge $60/hour.
