I had hoped to learn to play the fiddle, but I never played this instrument. I don’t have the original receipt with the name of the violin, but I recently wrote to Loveland Violin Shop in Santa Rosa, where I lived at the time and where I bought this. I took advantage of their “rent to buy” program.
Here’s what Mike Loveland wrote back: “Hi Lynda, it was one of our Chinese rentals. The new cost was around $600 in 2019. It's used now, so I would try to sell it in the $400+ range.”
Includes a nice case, bow, rosin, mute (for practicing and not driving your family crazy), instructional book and accessories, and violin/fiddle.
