We are four housemates, and one cat currently looking to fill a room that will become available in the middle of May. Please feel free to include as much information about yourself as possible, and we have done the same below.

The House:
● Updated Victorian in downtown Eureka
● Located ~3–5-minute walk to bus stops, 10-minute walk to ENF, Grocery Outlet, and Old Town
● 5 bedrooms, 1 full bath
○ Upstairs: 3 bedrooms and chill zone
○ Downstairs: 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/dining room, livingroom, laundry room
● Washer/Dryer
● 2 refrigerators
● Ample storage throughout
● Fenced, shared yard (studio out back with private entry)
● Backyard has fruit trees and planter boxes.
● Property manager is responsible for lawn care.
● Smoking allowed only in approved locations due to roommates with respiratory sensitivities.
● Tenants are allowed and encouraged to garden with property manager approval.
● Growing anything cannabis-related will need approval from property manager.
● Anything requiring excessive utilities will need approval from property manager and current tenants

The room
○ Available after May 17th
○ $500/mo each, utilities not included
■ Utilities usually range between $80-100/month and include:
● Gas/Electric, Water, Garbage, Wi-Fi
○ $1000 deposit each
○ Prefer 6-month lease minimum
○ The room has a gabled ceiling and nice natural lighting. The floors are newly replaced, and room recently painted.

The Tenants
● Two identifying as male, two identifying as female
● Age ranges mid 20s to early 30s
● Working in food service, retail, and IT (one of us works early morning hours, so quiet time is appreciated)
● Likes: movies (comedy/horror/scifi), music (punk/indie/80’s and 90’s), traveling
● Both semi-introverted but always down for interesting and respectful conversation in communal spaces
● Looking for housemates who are respectful, friendly, communicative, calm, respects lease guidelines

What We Require of You:
● Respectful and Communicative
o Bonus points for being familiar with and using Non-Violent Communication-based strategies and tools.
● Consistently employed and able to pay rent and utilities on time every month
● Contribute to shared living expenses (toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags, etc)
● Proactively shares and maintains household cleanliness schedule and responsibilities
● Covid-safe (vaccinated/scheduled to be vaccinated; if unable, very strict adherence to all protocols)
● Abides by lease rules
● Pet friendly
● 420 friendly
● No live-in partners, guests, or children (also contained in lease agreement)
● No additional pets (sorry)
