This cabin is private, quiet, and a perfect retreat to finish your writing project or get inspired to get a new artistic project started. It is a bit of a funky space and not intended to be a long-term rental. It's ideal for someone who needs some quiet retreat time with nature in a rustic space, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is fairly secluded and nestled within a few minute walk of the Van Duzen river (with a great little swimming hole). This is a short-term rental only and not available for long-term stays (29 days or less).
The cabin:
-no conventional power source
-spring fed water
-cozy full size bed with desk/workspace
-outhouse (no flushing toilet)
-pit for campfires
-covered outdoor kitchen area with outdoor propane stove and sink
-outdoor shower with on-demand propane water heater
-does NOT have internet but is Starlink-accessible
This is off-grid living, so it's best suited for someone who is comfortable with a little bit more of a rustic lifestyle. The reward is privacy, peace, and a beautiful natural setting that's hard to find.
Dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis but would require an additional refundable $200 pet deposit.
