Up for sale is a 1955 Delta Milwaukee 14" bandsaw in excellent condition. I rebuilt it to my exacting standards: it was disassembled down to the smallest screw, all derusted, primed and spray painted with industrial coatings, correctly put together and tuned to perfection. All bearings and belts were replaced, all electricals were redone to include proper sized wiring and grounding, etc. The wheels are sporting real rubber tires, properly glued on and crowned; this makes a world of difference in how the band tracks. The upper wheel spring was upgraded to aftermarket replacement that provides much better tension, and the always missing left hand blade cover was replaced with a replica shaped out of a maple board (same as original).
Included with the saw are 2 custom 3d printed table inserts, a complement of blades to cover every task imaginable from ripping to resawing to contour sawing in thick and thin materials, and a miter gage (forgot to take a pic of it).
I was using this saw for many projects ranging from bandsaw boxes to furniture, and it never let me down. It's been sitting mostly unused since I completed restoration of my prized 16" Walker-Turner bandsaw and put it to service. It saddens me to let this nice Delta machine go but I'd rather have it used and loved by someone else than sit in a corner and rust.
Cash only please, no weed. A trade for a 16-18" disc sander, a vintage 6" belt sander (Delta, Powermatic, etc), or metalworking equipment (e.g. lathe or mill tooling) might be interesting.
