Viltrakis Design Build is a design-build custom home company based in Fortuna, building custom homes all over Humboldt County. We build generational homes from the ground up — concrete to final trim — and we're looking for an experienced carpenter ready to grow into a lead role on our crew.
If you're a strong all-around carpenter who's ready for more responsibility — or who's already run a crew and wants to be part of a smaller, tight-knit company where your work actually matters — this is a real opportunity, not just a job posting.

What You'll Be Doing
Our crews handle the full scope of a custom build, so no two days look the same:
• Concrete forming and pouring
• Framing
• Siding and exterior trim
• Window installation
• Exterior and interior painting
• Interior trim, door hanging, and hardware install
• Finish woodworking
What We're Looking For
• Solid, hands-on experience across most of the above — we're not expecting a master of every trade, but you should be comfortable and capable in several
• Someone who takes pride in the work and doesn't need to be told twice
• As you grow with us: the ability (or desire to develop the ability) to run a jobsite — communicate with homeowners and subs, keep the schedule moving, and mentor less experienced guys on the crew
• Reliable, on time, ready to work 4 tens rain or shine
What We Offer
• $30–$35/hour, based on experience
• 401(k) with 6% match

We're a small, owner-operated company that gets involved early in design and stays with our clients through the whole build — and we want our crew to feel that same sense of ownership in the work.
